Cotton Candy Mix Brings the Carnival Home
Kids love cotton candy! If a kid tastes cotton candy at least once, then they’ll love it for life. One of the best things you can do for your kids or grandkids is to treat them to the sweet surprise at home. You’re probably wondering, how in the world can you make the candy in your own home. The days of waiting for the carnival or circus are over. With a home machine and cotton candy mix, you can bring the sweetness home.
Making the Candy at Home
It’s possible to make all the cotton candy you want in your own home. You need to purchase a consumer counter-top machine to make the candy. It’s a small machine that fits on a standard table or counter. A party rental store might have one you can rent. However, if you plan to make the candy often, it’s probably economical to buy your own machine. Most of the machines are inexpensive and cost less than $50. However, if you don’t mind shelling out the bucks, you can buy a full-sized machine for a few hundred dollars.
Once you have the machine, you need cotton candy mix in order to make the candy. A typical machine has a spinning mechanism inside of an attached bowl. You pour the cotton candy mix into the bowl portion of the machine. The bowl heats and melts the mix, which is then spun into what you’ll recognize as cotton candy. You then twist the candy onto a stick. The sticks might come with the machine or you can buy them separately. In the end, you have sweet cotton candy that you made in your own kitchen.
The machines usually only come with a few sticks – maybe two or three. You’ll probably want to buy extras. If the machine doesn’t come with cotton candy mix, you’ll have to buy that as well. The expense is worth it because cotton candy is fun, and the kids will love it. If you really want to impress a crowd, use the machine at a kid’s birthday party. However, avoid letting the kids eat it before bed. Cotton candy is like energy on a stick! It’s a treat best eaten when the day is young.
